GUIDE TO US HOMELAND SECURITY FLIGHT STANDARDS
This is a guide to help you through the Transport Security Administration (TSA) registration process. This is required by law and candidates MUST complete the registration process PRIOR to any form of FAA Training outside of the USA.
FIRSTLY contact WillowAir and we will list you as a candidate under training. Then visit the website: www.flightschoolcandidates.gov - go to bottom of page and click 'new account' (usually highlighted in blue). Complete the form and submit. You will receive a confirmation from the TSA with your username and password.
Log on again to www.flightschoolcandidates.gov and click 'new training request'. Enter 'Willowair Flying Club Ltd' as your Training Provider. Complete your details, if in any doubt PLEASE contact me on my mobile (07973-892511) and I will help you through the process. There will be a $130 charge for the registration by the TSA.
The TSA will respond to your form by sending an email confirmation to you with a further copy sent to WillowAir, as your Training Provider. WillowAir will then validate the form.
After this process has been cleared you will then have to start the fingerprinting section.
Go to the website: www.tsc-csc.com/printoffices - Click on 'UK' and then click 'Flightsafety Farnborough'. Complete the Form as instructed. They will charge you $149 for this process. You then contact them to arrange a time/date to be fingerprinted. A letter of Invitation will be emailed to you. PLEASE PRINT and KEEP.
IMPORTANT
PLEASE PRINT ALL DOCUMENTATION THAT YOU RECEIVE BOTH FROM THE TSA AND FLIGHTSAFETY AS YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRODUCE THESE. IF IN DOUBT, AT ANY STAGE, PLEASE CONTACT US AS YOUR TRAINING PROVIDER - THE TSA WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY MISTAKES ON THE PAPERWORK!!!
